Robot cell for mechanically deburring transmission parts

This robot cell is a cost-effective solution for automatically deburring drill holes and recesses that frequently occur in the production of transmission components.

Special deburring tools ensure that drill holes or recesses can be deburred on both sides without having to turn the workpiece over and reclamp it. This technology is used particularly for welded or die-cast transmission components.

Speed and precision are just two of the requirements for deburring technology. We developed our deburring cell with a systematic structure with, at its heart, an industrial robot and one or more rotating cycle tables. Additionally, integrated processing stations for brushing and bead removal boost the cell’s level of efficiency.
