Modular bin picking system requiring just 2,000 x 2,000 mm of space and capable of handling workpiece weights up to 10 kg
INDAT Robotics offers the following versions of modular bin-picking cells: XL, XL KOMPAKT and M KOMPAKT. This series of highly-flexible robot cells for “bin-picking” consists of modern standard modules with a safety glass enclosure.
The smallest bin-picking cell (M KOMPAKT) measures just 2,000 x 2,000 mm and can handle weights up to 10 kg! The cell is designed for containers 800 x 600 x 600 mm in size. Depending on the version, the modules are designed so that additional production processes can be integrated into the cells despite their compact size.
The XL bin-picking module handles containers up to 1,200 x 1,000 x 1,000 mm in size. One or two container stations can be configured, enabling workpieces with a maximum weight of 30 kg to be set down continuously.
The XL KOMPAKT module also offers the option of implementing additional production processes inside the robotic cell, such as DMC marking.
Thanks to intelligent path planning, high-resolution 3D machine vision perfectly aligned with the gripping technology, an exceptionally high degree of emptying and fast cycle times can be achieved. Placement accuracy is also correspondingly high. Parts can be set down in a specific position on a conveyor, on a centering or transfer station or placed directly in the receiver of a machine tool. Precise gripping is independent of whether the workpieces to be picked in random or properly oriented manner. Automated handling of layer dividers possible.
All iNDAT bin-picking modules in platform design come with a modern safety glass enclosure as standard. They are also fitted with lifting eyes for transport purposes.
